Cancellation, Rescheduling and Appeals Policy

AccTrain Academy is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences. We recognize that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and this policy sets out the terms and conditions for cancellations, withdrawals, rescheduling, and appeals. The policy is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with the various relevant regulatory requirements.

Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course

AccTrain Academy reserves the right to cancel a course if the number of participants taking the course is below a viable number and running the course would not make economic sense. Participants would be informed of the any cancellation of courses not less than three (3) working days before the course commencement.

The participant will also be informed in writing of alternative training arrangements (if any), and also be entitled to a refund of the entire Course Fees already paid should the participant decide to withdraw, within seven (7) working days of the above notice.

Refund for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons

If the participant withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those stated above, the training organisation will, within thirty (30) days of receiving the participant’s written notice of withdrawal, refund to the participant an amount based on the table below.

Refund During Cooling-Off Period – AccTrain Academy will provide the student with a cooling-off period of seven (7) working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties. The student will be refunded with the highest percentage stated in the Refund Policy of the fees already paid if the student submits a written notice of withdrawal to AccTrain Academy within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.

AccTrain Academy will notify the participant within three (3) working days upon occurrence of any of the following:

  1. it does not commence the Course on the Course Commencement Date;
  2. it terminates the Course before the Course Commencement Date;
  3. it does not complete the Course by the Course Completion Date;
  4. it terminates the Course before the Course Completion Date;
  5. It has not ensured that the Student meets the course entry or matriculation requirement; or
  6. the Student’s Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA);

the participant will be entitled to a full refund of the Course Fee paid, within seven (7) working days of the above notice.

A participant who wishes to transfer from one Course to another Course with AccTrain Academy must send a written notice to AccTrain Academy for official approval. Such transfer will be deemed as a withdrawal from the Course and the provisions of Clause 2 shall apply taking the date of request received.

A participant cannot offset any Course Fee paid for one course to another person/or as payment for another course which is deemed as a withdrawal from the Course.

  • AccTrain Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient enrolment, trainer unavailability, or matters beyond reasonable control.
  • In such instances, participants will be notified not less than three (3) working days before course commencement. 
  • Participants may either opt to transfer to the next available run of the same course at no additional charge, or receive a full refund of course fees already paid.
  • Participants may request a one-time rescheduling to a later run of the same course, subject to availability and approval by AccTrain Academy. 
  • Written notice of rescheduling must be submitted at least five (5) working days prior to course commencement.
  • Any further rescheduling requests beyond this allowance will be treated as a withdrawal, and the Refund Policy shall apply accordingly.
  • Participants who wish to appeal on matters relating to refunds, withdrawals, assessments, or other course-related decisions may submit a written appeal to AccTrain Academy. 
  • Appeals must be concise, supported with relevant documentation where appropriate, and addressed to the Management.
  • All appeals will be reviewed fairly, and participants will receive a written response within fourteen (14)working days of receipt.
