Overview:

This course, designed for Accounting Professionals and Personnel, is taught by our qualified and friendly Xero-trainers who are experienced bookkeepers and Xero-certified advisors. Using practical case studies for Xero demo, you will gain greater knowledge to navigate the Xero software and confidently apply the Xero accounting system functionalities for your day-to-day business transactions.

Assessment

There will be a 90 minute assignment to be taken on Day 2. Passing of the assignment is required, in order to earn the Certificate Of Attainment (COA), and *SSG course fee grant entitlement.

Course Fees

Full Course Fee (no subsidy) @SGD $680 /-

Here are the nett fees for the following:

  1. Any Self-Sponsored Singaporean or PR aged from 21-39yrs  @SGD $340/-
  2. Any Self-Sponsored Singaporean aged>=40, or *SME Company-Sponsored (Any age Singaporean or PR) @ SGD $204/-
  3. Company-Sponsored Singaporean or PR working in *Non-SME @ SGD $340/-

*The Government of Singapore declared new parameters for what defines a Small and Medium Enterprise. According to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, an SME will be defined as an enterprise with an annual sales turnover of under S$100 million, or that employs less than 200 workers.

1. Company-Sponsored Employees
  • Company-Sponsored SME Singapore Citizens and PRs – Funding capped at up to 70% subsidy.
  • Company-Sponsored Non-SME (Singapore Citizens or PRs 21-39 years old) – Funding capped at up to 50% subsidy.
  • Company-Sponsored Non-SME (Singapore Citizens or PRs 40 years old and above) – Funding capped at up to 70% subsidy.
2. Self-Sponsored Learners
  • Singapore Citizens (40 years old and above) – Funding capped at up to 70% subsidy.
  • Singapore Citizens (21-39 years old) and PRs – Funding up to 50% subsidy capped at $15/hr.
3. SkillsFuture Credits (for Self-Sponsored)
  • Singapore Citizens (21 onwards) may use their SkillsFuture Credits to offset the nett payable course fee. find out more.
4. Absentee Payroll (for Company-Sponsored)
  • The training provider will submit on your company’s behalf your employee’s enrolment, attendance and assessment records via TPGateway. Thereafter, your employer will be notified to log into Enterprise Portal for Jobs & Skills (EPJS) to declare necessary information for Absentee Payroll funding.

Topic 3: Setting Up Chart of Accounts / Inventory Items / Contacts

  • Set up chart of accounts
  • Create or import chart of accounts

  • Creating untracked and tracked inventory items

Topic 4: Setting Up Bank Account

  • Adding bank account and account code in Xero
